Arbel Grants specializes in assisting technology based companies to enhance their success rates in securing grants from the Israeli Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS), US federal programs, Bi-national funds (BIRD, CIIRDF, SIIRD, KORIL) and multi-national collaboration agreements.

Government grants offer an attractive financing solution for supporting R&D activities. Grants are a low risk, non-dilutive financing option, where in most cases repayment is ‘success based’ and is paid back as small percentage of sales of products sponsored by granted funds.

As such, government grants are a highly competitive source of funding. In 2006, requests for funding from OCS sources alone amounted to $1.1 billion, while only $240 million were granted.
